DCBC – ‘The Mustard Seed’
John read from Matthew 13 verses 31 to 33, “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed …”. He spoke of the tiny size of a mustard seed compared to the size of the bush it grows into. He talked of Jesus as a poor ex-carpenter who said and did crazy things, but through whom the world was (and is today) changed. John’s message was ‘don’t despise the small things’ and he challenged us to ask ‘what does God want to do with me?’ because with God, individuals can change the world.
